Comfort is the enemy of progress

You are comfortable with that small small salary and busy saying at least we have something. You are comfortable with that old version car and busy comforting each other in your family at least we have something to take us from point A to point B

And yet God has greater things in store for you ‼️
He has a better model car in store for you that won’t give you challenges on the road.
He has a better salary instore for you that will allow you to finance the gospel. He has a better position in the government instore for you that will allow you to make decisions that will benefit the body of Christ but you are comfortable with that small small position where no one recognizes you. You are comfortable walking with no car and yet when you a car you will be able to ferry others to church. He has a car in store for you but you are comfortable with no car and you are busy comforting yourself at least l have legs and bus fare.

Comfort is the enemy of progress. You can not progress if you are comfortable in the situation you are in. You are comfortable in that one room, you are comfortable sleeping on the floor with no bed. You are comfortable being given handouts by relatives now you see no need to get a job. Beloved get out of your comfort zone. That’s the only way you can progress in your life.

Luke 4 vs 1 – 11, the Lord Jesus led by the Spirit had to get out of his comfort zone into the wilderness to pray and fast. That brought progress in His life and ministry. Maybe you need to get out the comfort of your home and go to a moutain to pray and fast for the sake of your progress spiritually or rather you need to get out of your comfort zone of watching moveis the whole day and actually start doing something meaningful with your life.

Get out of that comfort zone and start applying jobs. Get out of that comfort zone and expanding your streams of income. Get out of that comfort zone of sleeping early and waking up late. Start sleeping fewer hours and use those extra hours to do something productive.

Get out of that comfort zone. Comfort is the biggest enemy of progress.
